District Cross Country was held on Thursday…
The West Point-Beemer Girls finished 5th with a score of 61 in C-3 while Logan View was 7th with a 99. The Cadets’ Kimberly Pena finished 6th individually with a time of 22:01.00 while teammate Emerson Meiergerd was 14th with a time of 22:44.00. Willow Geiger of Logan View placed 9th with a time of 22:32.60.
West Point-Beemer finished 10th in C-3 in Boys with a score of 130 while Logan View was 11th with a score of 180.
The Wisner-Pilger Boys finished 8th in D-2 with an 83 while Bancroft-Rosalie was 10th with 102. Pender finished 12th with a score of 131 while GACC was 13th with 136. The Gators’ Sylas Delmont finished 14th individually with a time of 18:33.66.
The Pender Girls won District D-2, and the team consists of Kyla Krusemark, who finished 3rd individually with a time of 20:46.58, Hadley Walsh, who finished 6th with a time of 21:02.84, Megan Breitbarth, who was 7th with a 21:04.74, and Jala Krusemark, who finished 11th with a 21:29.27.
Wisner-Pilger was 6th with a 68 and Lyons-Decatur Northeast placed 9th with a 109.
