OMAHA, Neb. – The Creighton softball team has adjusted its schedule for its BIG EAST opener at Villanova, due to cold temperatures and inclement weather in the Philadelphia forecast this weekend.
The Bluejays and Wildcats were scheduled to play a three-game series, starting on Friday at 2 p.m. Creighton and Villanova will now play a doubleheader on Friday, with game one scheduled for 12 p.m. Central Time. Game two will follow at 2 p.m. or roughly 30 minutes after game one. The two teams will then wrap up the series with a single game on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Central Time. at the Villanova Softball Complex. There will not be a game on Sunday.
