Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 8, on old US-30, North Bend to Fremont project, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
The project includes an asphalt overlay, bridge repairs, and other minor work, on old US-30, now known as Platte View Road. Traffic will be maintained with various lane closures and flaggers. There are detours planned for the bridge repair work. Anticipated completion is Jan. 2025.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
