The City of Blair’s budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year was approved Tuesday night by the Blair City Council. Blair City Administrator Phil Green tells us the bottom line on that budget

The City also hit a record according to City Administrator Green:

Green says the city’s total valuation is due to both residential and business growth. Larger endeavors such as the Dollar General Distribution Center adds to the town’s value and tax base.

Other governmental bodies have yet to present their budget proposals and levies. Blair Community School’s will set their final tax request in a public hearing September 16th at 7pm at the school district’s central office, 1326 Park Street.
