The Bancroft-Rosalie Girls Basketball Team fell 54-29 to Pender in the 1st round of State from Pinnacle Bank Arena Thursday Morning in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

The Pendragons tripled up the Panthers 9-3 in the 1st quarter and outscored Bancroft-Rosalie 20-7 in the 2nd quarter to take a 29-10 lead into the locker room. Pender won the 3rd quarter 15-10 to extend their lead to 44-20 at the end of three. The Pendragons won the 4th quarter 10-9. Samryn Dick had 9 points.

End of Season Synopsis:

Bancroft-Rosalie’s year ends at 17-7. I thought the Panthers did a great job of making a late season push and run and getting to the State Tournament. That’s a big deal and a huge accomplishment, and Bancroft-Rosalie did well. Dick led the team in scoring with 338 points this season. Seniors lost to graduation include Dick and Alix Nolting. Key returners for next year include Makenna James, Addison James, Kairece Morris, Jaya Snyder, Bailey Murphy, and Kenidee McClain. The Panthers should be very strong and stout once again next year and should have a great chance to make State once again. Dick is a huge loss, but I feel like the returners will all step up and elevate their games and scoring, especially the Seniors-to-be.
