This week’s Animal of the Week is Owen Kneifl of the Pender football team. Owen ran the ball 24 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns in helping the Pendragons to a 31-12 road win over Tri County Northeast on Friday. In the Sept. 6 game against Laurel-Concord/Coleridge, Owen set a new school single game rushing record, going for 285 yards along with four touchdowns.
