Robert “Bob” Jones, 78, of West Point, NE passed away on Monday, December 5, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hillside Villa in West Point, NE.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beemer Mennonite Church in Beemer, NE with Pastor Lewis Miller officiating. Interment will be at a later date. A luncheon will be held following the service at the Beemer Legion Hall. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Robert Norman Jones was born October 12, 1944 at Beemer, NE to Leslie and Clara (Stephenson) Jones. He attended Beemer Public Schools and later attended trade school in Omaha, NE. Bob operated the NAPA store in West Point before going to work for his father at Jones Manufacturing.
Bob and Geraldine Beck were married in 1966 and their children are Kim, Eliza, John, and Jason.
Bob eventually purchased the business from his father and operated Jones Manufacturing, Jones Grinding and The Part’s Junction in Beemer until his retirement. The Mighty Giant Grinders have been sold all across the world.
Bob and Trudy Hass were married on July 5, 1994 on an Alaskan Cruise at the port Victoria, British Columbia.
Bob and Trudy enjoyed traveling. Bob loved hunting, collecting guns, old cars and trucks. He was a member of Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents-Clara and Leslie Jones, step-mother-Doris Jones, brother-Leslie, sister-Jerilyn Wiese, and a brother-in-law-Roger Hass.
