Heather (Tienken) Woeppel, age 39, of West Point, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point, NE with Pastor John Gierke officiating. Interment will be at a later date. Visitation will be on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue on Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church. Heather Marie Woeppel was born on October 14, 1982 in West Point, NE to Lyle and Mary (Peatrowsky) Tienken. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point, NE. Heather attended St. Paul Lutheran School through the 8th Grade, graduated from West Point High School in 2001. And attended Wayne State College.
Heather worked for several companies over the years, Braun Research Laboratories’, BD, Lindsay Manufacturing, and the Shopko warehouse. She spent the last nine years courageously battling brain cancer.
Heather was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was happiest when spending time with her children and family, she loved to watch TV, keeping up with news stories, assembling puzzles, and had a great fondness for the ocean and dolphins. In 2020, she was granted a vacation trip to Disneyland with her family.

Heather was preceded in death by her grandparents-Leroy and Lola Tienken, and James (Pat) Peatrowsky, and a cousin-Jennifer Hadden.
