Funeral services for Dennis Beck age 98 of Snyder, NE will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in North Bend, NE with Pastor Lawson Short officiating. A luncheon will follow the service with interment after in the St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery in Snyder, NE. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Dennis passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hillside Villa in West Point, NE.
Dennis Paul Beck was born on the family farm near Snyder, NE to Otto and Emma (Kroenke) Beck. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Snyder, NE. Dennis attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School and graduated from Snyder High School in 1943.
Dennis farmed with his brother Kenneth near Snyder, NE and also took care of their mother.
On July 30, 1999, Dennis was united in marriage to Marilyn Roth at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Snyder, NE.
Dennis was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Snyder until its closing and was currently a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in North Bend and had served on the Snyder Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed attending Cornhusker Football games, he bowled in various leagues for a number of years, he played town team baseball and going to Minnesota fishing. He and Marilyn enjoyed traveling.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents-Otto and Emma Beck, and brother- Kenneth and Althea Beck.
