Statewide poll seeks opinions from rural, urban residents
April 13th, 2021 | Whitney Steckel

The 2021 Nebraska Rural Poll has hit the mailboxes of 14,000 households across the state of Nebraska.

The rural poll was developed in 1996 to gain more insight about the trends in expansive parts of the state. The information obtained from the survey is traditionally sent to Nebraska senators and representatives.

To measure impacts of the pandemic, this year’s survey will include 7,000 metropolitan area households for the first time, in addition to the 7,000 rural households.

Rebecca Vogt, Survey Research Manager at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln visited with the Rural Radio Network recently about the 2021 Rural Poll.
