An upper level disturbance crossing the Central Plains will bring another round of snow to our area today into tonight with snow amounts of 1 to 4 inches forecast.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for locations along and north of a line from Lexington to Hastings to Geneva. Frigid temperatures and dangerous wind chills are expected all weekend long and into next week with wind chills as cold as 35 degrees below zero, so be prepared for extreme cold nights and mornings.

Another round of snow is expected Saturday night through Sunday evening, with additional snow amounts of 1 to 4 inches forecast, with the higher snow totals focused southwest of the Tri Cities.
