Nebraska farmer receives destructive storms with rain| Fridays in the Field | Ep. 14
August 4th, 2023 | Jessie Lamp

Randy Smith, a farmer in eastern Nebraska, continues to overcome challenges involving intense weather conditions and damaged equipment.

Much needed rainfall has allowed corn crops to survive from intense heat waves.

“It was surprising to me how much growth we got. I thought maybe it would be short and tassel out, but it actually got some pretty good height to it,” said Randy Smith.

Smith concludes with his overall goal for his crop production and hopes for plentiful rain with little to no storms.
