The Minden FFA Chapter is preparing for the Nebraska FFA State Convention by sharing their presentation for the upcoming Ag Issues competition.

The students chose The Impact of Social Media on Consumer Perceptions of Agricultural Products.

Students said the presentation is a skit about two girls who have seen different sides of TikTok and do not know what information is factual or false.

The girls end up talking to three different types of farmers and ranchers at a farmers market to separate the truth from misconceptions and determine tactics to figure out the information themselves.

Minden FFA Advisor Macie Wippel said this is the first time Minden FFA members have competed in this event.

The Minden FFA members said their ultimate goal is to compete at the National FFA Convention.
