KAAPA Ethanol Weekly Crop Progress Report for November 22, 2021

U.S. Corn and soybeans were 95% harvested as of Sunday, according to the USDA NASS Weekly Crop Progress report. Winter wheat planting was 96%, near the five year average of 97%, conditions rated at 44% good to excellent.

Nebraska: Topsoil moisture supplies rated 8% very short, 30% short, 61% adequate, and 1% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 11% very short, 38% short, 50% adequate, and 1% surplus. Field Crops Report: Corn harvested was 95%, near 98% last year and 94% for the five-year average. Winter wheat condition rated 3% very poor, 10% poor, 24% fair, 52% good, and 11% excellent. Sorghum harvested was 95%, behind 100% last year, but near 94% average. Pasture and Range Report: Pasture and range conditions rated 13% very poor, 15% poor, 55%
fair, 15% good, and 2% excellent.

Kansas: Topsoil moisture supplies rated 13% very short, 26% short, 59% adequate, and 2% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 14% very short, 26% short, 58% adequate, and 2% surplus. Field Crops Report: Winter wheat condition rated 3% very poor, 7% poor, 29% fair, 50% good, and 11% excellent. Winter wheat emerged was 89%, near 91% last year and 90% for the five-year average. Soybeans harvested was 92%, behind 97% last year, and near 94% average.
Sorghum harvested was 91%, near 94% last year and 90% average. Cotton condition rated 2% very poor, 6% poor, 38% fair, 50% good, and 4% excellent. Cotton harvested was 47%, near 50% last year, and equal to average. Sunflowers harvested was 93%, near 94% last year, but ahead of 88% average. Pasture and Range Report: Pasture and range conditions rated 9% very poor, 17% poor, 38% fair, 35% good, and 1% excellent.
