Imperial FFA announced as national runner-up in Parliamentary Procedure event

The Imperial FFA Chapter was announced as the runner-up in the National FFA Parliamentary Procedure Leadership Development Event (LDE).

The event was held in conjunction with the 94th National FFA Convention & Expo in Indianapolis.

The members of the top four national winning teams each received cash awards to recognize their success in the event. The cash awards and the parliamentary procedure event are sponsored by the National FFA Foundation and the National FFA Organization. The National FFA Parliamentary Procedure LDE tests students’ ability to effectively communicate ideas during a meeting.

Components included a general knowledge exam of parliamentary law, a 10minute demonstration of parliamentary procedure, oral questions, written minutes of the demonstration as well as a team problem-solving activity. Each team competed on local and state levels to earn the privilege of representing their state at the National FFA Convention & Expo.
