If you’re addicted to bacon, you’re in for a treat.

IHOP has launched a Bacon Obsession Menu featuring steakhouse premium bacon, which is five times thicker than the company’s regular bacon.

The limited-time menu includes steakhouse premium bacon, Steakhouse Premium Bacon Burger, Candied Bacon Pancakes and a Maple Bacon Milkshake.

The Bacon Obsession Menu is available through June 13 and also features the Steakhouse Premium Bacon “BreakFEAST” combo, Oreo ‘N Bacon Waffle Sundae and the Bacon Lovers Combo, available only on weekdays.

The Bacon Obsession Menu was created in collaboration with the National Pork Board (NPB), which provided research and menu ideation to help IHOP bring more consumers in for lunch and dinner.

According to Neal Hull, director of channel marketing with the NPB, this is good news for pork producers. He said since IHOP is located in all 50 states, the new menu elevates bacon beyond its traditional breakfast position.

“The good news for producers is our iconic blue Pork logo is all over all of their promotional materials,” he said. “We’re excited with the relationship that we’re building with IHOP and we’re going to continue to work with them in the months and years ahead to continue to bring ideas to them [on] how they can feature more pork on their menu.”

IHOP is the first national family dining restaurant chain to serve a premium bacon item, usually found in fine dining settings.
