(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week for contests played Aug. 26 –Sept. 1, 2019. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2019-2020 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Men’s Soccer Players-of-the-Week

Men’s Offense – Noah Aniser, Morningside College (Midfielder)

Noah Aniser of Morningside College is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Offensive Player-of-the-Week. Aniser, a sophomore, from Memmingen, Germany, accumulated three-points for Morningside College as they dropped Waldorf University from the ranks of the unbeaten Saturday. He scored the match-deciding goal late in the first half for his second game-winning strike of the year in just four matches. Aniser also assisted on the first score as Morningside improved to 3-1 on the season.

Men’s Defense – Eduardo Alba, Concordia University (Keeper)

Eduardo Alba of Concordia University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week. Alba, a freshman, from Katy, Texas, earned the shutout by making eight saves in a 3-0 Concordia victory over York College. Alba has recorded shutouts in each of his first two collegiate games for the Bulldogs.
