York Fire Chief Resigns

York Fire Chief Resigns

YORK- Michael Lloyd, York’s Fire Chief, has resigned from his position. He did so late Monday, so now there is a vacancy for that position within the York Fire department. He mentioned challenges during his time as Fire Cheif, including being unable to achieve goals due to budget constraints. Lloyd became the Fire Chief on April 3rd, 2017. Lloyd has been in fire and rescue business for 40 years. Before becoming the Fire Chief, Lloyd was a captain with Offutt Air Force Base Fire and Emergency Services.
