YORK COUNTY- A man from Lyman, NE has three drug-related charges stemming from an April 4th, 2019 traffic stop. According to court records, a Nebraska State Patrol Trooper was advised from the NSP Dispatch to watch for a white bob tail truck tractor that was reported by another motorist for failing to maintain its lane near York. The reporting party advised the vehicle was traveling west bound from the 359 on Interstate 80. The Trooper observed the vehicle failing to maintain its lane near mm 345 as it drove onto the shoulder and straddled the center lane. The man was identified as Guadalupe Tarin. His license was from Colorado and it was suspended.
Also according to court records, the Trooper found a glass pipe with meth residue in a cooler, 3.1 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe under the driverside visor, and then 28.4 grams of methamphetamine under the sleeper bed in a sock.
Tarin’s charges are:
– Possess (meth)amphetamine 28-139 grams, a Class 1C Felony
– Possess controlled substance, a Class 4 Felony
– No drug tax stamp, Class 4 Felony
His arraignment is set for October 15th.
