Four Corners Health Department COVID-19 Weekly Update

As of Friday, January 8, the Four Corners Risk Dial has been reset and remains in the Orange Elevated COVID-19 Risk Level at 2.63, which is slightly up from the previous week’s 2.38.  Public health recommendations and the COVID-19 dashboard are posted on our website at www.fourcorners.ne.gov.

Over the past 2 days (January 7-8), there were 34 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the District:

  • York County had 15 new cases for a total of 1,437.
  • Seward County had 11 new cases for a total of 1,686.
  • Butler County added 4 cases for 761 total cases.
  • Polk County had 4 new cases for 488 cases total.

As of January 8, the total cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in the Four Corners District is 4,372.  There were 257 new cases in the previous 14 days, with 135 of those cases recorded in the past 7 days.

Over the prior 7 days (Jan. 2-8), the totals for each county are as follows:

  • Butler County—18
  • Polk County—14
  • Seward County—52
  • York County–51

For cases occurring Dec. 26-Jan. 1, the age breakdown was:
