Rain has kept optimism high for Butler County farmer Kevin Siffering even with replanting likely in the future.

As he recounts the recent weeks, Siffering reflects on the palpable shift brought by the much-needed rainfall. From the dry, dusty days of spring, where even digging fence post holes stirred up clouds of clay dust, to now, where the land is replenished, with water visibly pooling in some of his fields, the transformation is remarkable.
