YORK – The 2024 Vincent Senior Classic legion baseball tournament began Thursday at the York Ballpark.
Lincoln Chick-Fil-A seniors went up against Utica/Beaver Crossing in the first game. Lincoln scored 9 runs in the first inning, and didn’t stop there. The game concluded in the 3rd inning because of a 15-run-after-three-innings rule, and Lincoln opened with a 19-0 win.
In game two, the York Cornerstone Kings blasted past Shelby/Osceola/Stromsburg by a 15-0 final score, also in just three innings.
The first two matchups are now set for Saturday. Lincoln Chick-Fil-A and York Cornerstone will matchup in the winners bracket at 1:30 PM, and UBC and SOS will play in the first game Saturday at 11 AM. Both games will be on KOOL Radio and Striv TV.
