Lincoln, Neb. — Revisions to Board policy regarding the sponsorship of speakers with student fees will be on the agenda for the next University of Nebraska Regents meeting.
The meeting will be held Friday, December 2nd, at Varner Hall in Lincoln, starting at 9 a.m.
Also on the agenda will be room and board rates for the 2023 through 2026 school years at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska at Omaha and Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture at Curtis.
The meeting will lead off with remarks from NU System President Ted Carter, who will review key accomplishments from the past year and look ahead to 2023.
Board Chairman Bob Phares will be awarded the title of Regent Emeritus. Phares, who represents District 7, is ending his time on the Board after 16 years of service.
