LINCOLN – The 2-seed BDS Eagles took care of 7-seed Hartington Cedar Catholic in four sets (17-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-18). Senior Macy Kamler finished with 11 kills in the match, and senior Jordan Bolte added 7 kills. BDS will move on to play 3-seed Archbishop Bergan Friday in the semifinals. That game begins at 11 a.m. on 104.9 Max Country.
The 8-seed Centennial Broncos played on Thursday night in Pinnacle Bank Arena, against the 1-seed Lutheran High Northeast Eagles. The Broncos kept it pretty competitive in both sets, however, the Eagles closed the sets out well ultimately winning in a 3-0 sweep (25-22, 25-20, 20-10). Senior Jaycee Stuhr had 8 kills in the match. Centennial finishes the season with a 22-12 record.
