The NSAA Boys State golf tournaments finished yesterday in Classes A through D.

In Class B, Luke Gutschewski of Mount Michael Benedictine won the individual title by shooting a pair of 1-under par 71s at Elks Country Club in Columbus. Ty Wehrs of Seward picked up the runner-up trophy as the only Seward contestant and shot +7 in the two day tournament. Mount Michael won the team title by shooting a +76 and won by three strokes over Omaha Skutt Catholic. Norris, McCook and York rounded out the top-5 in Class B.

In Class A, at Norfolk Country Club, Jake Boor of Creighton Prep finished with a two-day total of 2-under par to win by three strokes over Will Topoloski of Lincoln East. Creighton Prep won the team championship by five strokes over second-place Lincoln Pius X.

In Class C at Kearney country club, Rockey Peck of Wisner/Pilger fired a 148, 6-over par to win the individual title. Alexander Shademan of Fillmore Central finished runner up at 11-over. Wahoo Bishop Neumann won the team title by shooting a +112.

Rain suspended the Class D state golf tournament at Lake Maloney in North Platte, but taking the title was Brendon Walker of Mullen with a score of 146, 2-over-par. North Platte St. Patricks finished with the team title shooting +69.
