HOLDREGE – The Seward ZKE Storage senior legion baseball team advances to Tuesday night’s Area B4 tournament after a 15-0 win over York Cornerstone on Monday. Seward is the two-seed, the highest remaining seed after they blanked #1 York.
Seward will face Wahoo State Bank at 5pm at Sam Crawford Field in Holdrege. Seward will need to win that game to move on to a winner-take-all game two. Wahoo is unbeaten at the double-elimination area tournament. Seward’s lone loss on the week came to Wahoo 4-0 in Sunday’s second round.
The winner of the Area B4 tournament will represent at the Class B State Legion Tournament which starts in Holdrege on August 2nd.
