Omaha’s Zoo welcomes one millionth visitor of 2022

Omaha, Neb. (August 4, 2022) – This year’s millionth visitor to walk through the redemption
gates at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium was Jeanina Hunt of Papillion, Nebraska.
Hunt, a Zoo and Aquarium member, entered the Zoo at about 10:50 a.m. today with her
daughters Camila, 7, and Juliana, who turned 4 today. Juliana had asked to come to the Zoo for
her birthday to ride Sue’s Carousel.


As the Zoo’s special guest, Hunt and her family were greeted by a “tunnel” of Zoo staff and the
Zoo’s Animal Ambassadors. Zoo staff also sang “Happy Birthday” in celebration of Juliana’s
birthday. The Hunt family also received an additional 12 months on their Omaha’s Henry Doorly
Zoo and Aquarium membership, a Zoo gift basket, ride tickets, Lozier Giant Screen
Theater® tickets, a Zoo gift card, and a golf cart tour with giraffe and sea lion encounters.
