Grand Island, Neb. — A livestock trailer carrying hogs overturned on Interstate 80 near Grand Island.
The Nebraska State Patrol was called to the incident just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Multiple agencies responded to the scene at mile marker 318. The driver had minor injuries, but was not in need of being transported to a medical facility.
Some of the hogs died at the scene. The rest of the animals were rounded up and placed in another truck to be transported from the site.
