Larry the Cable guy is no stranger to the PBR.

In 2007, he was part owner of World Champion Bucking Bull, Chicken on a Chain, and is now the proud owner of high caliber bull, Mr. Koolie.

With a 95.7% buckoff rate, Mr. Koolie will be used as the bounty bull at this weekend’s PBR Velocity Tour event in Lincoln. So far in his career, he has recorded 47 outs with only two qualified rides. The winner of the event will be eligible to ride Mr. Koolie for an additional $10,000 in winnings.

“I’m super excited to be involved with the PBR in bringing the bounty bull to the Lincoln, Nebraska, Velocity Tour event,” said Larry the Cable Guy. “I’ve loved the sport for many years and co-owned a few great bulls, one being the 2007 World Champion Bull Chicken on a Chain, no lie we got the buckle! I want to thank the PBR for bringing this event to Lincoln where we know how to Git-R-Done when it comes to bull riding in the Cornhusker State. I’m excited for fans of the PBR and my hometown fans to watch my Bull Mr. Koolie start his run at being a legend.”

Pendleton Whisky’s Velocity Tour event will take place this Saturday, April 13th, at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. Tickets for PBR Lincoln are still available, starting at $15, taxes and fees not included. They can be purchased online at ticketmaster.com and PBR.com.

Dan (aka Larry) joined Rebel Sjeklocha to chat about his history with the PBR and what fans can expect this Saturday, April 13th, at the event in Lincoln.
