Two of the top volleyball programs in the country meet tonight as the 4th ranked Huskers are on the road at 5th Stanford. NU is 7-0 for a second year in a row. NU is aiming for its first 8-0 start since 2016. The Cardinal are 6-1 with its lone loss a 3-0 sweep at home to No. 8 Florida on Aug. 29. Stanford has swept No. 7 Texas, No. 10 Minnesota, and they beat No. 15 Ohio State, 3-1. The Cardinal returned every key member from last year’s squad that finished 27-5 and reached an NCAA regional final before falling in five sets to San Diego. Stanford has won five in a row against the Huskers. First serve starts tonight at 8pm.
