2020-21 GPAC All-Sports Standings

SEWARD, Neb. – As revealed by the conference on Wednesday (May 12), Concordia University Athletics has finished second in the 2020-21 Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Sports Standings. The league awards a traveling trophy to the athletic department that places first each academic year. The all-sports standings are determined by a point system based on the final regular season place finishes (or the GPAC meets for track and field) in each of the sports that feature a conference championship sponsored by the GPAC.

Under the leadership of Director of Athletics Devin Smith, Athletics Director of the Year Award winner (as chosen by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics), Concordia has placed in the top two of the GPAC in five of the past six completed athletic seasons (all-sports champion in 2014-15). The Bulldogs led the 2019-20 conference all-sports standings last March when the remainder of the athletic year was canceled due to COVID-19.

Concordia topped all other GPAC schools in standings points in female athletics in 2020-21. Below is a summary of Bulldog teams that placed either first or second in GPAC regular season and/or postseason play over the past year. However, postseason play is not factored into the GPAC’s point system.
