A search warrant on Sunday, executed by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Aurora Police Department resulted in the seizure of drugs and one arrest. According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, it was served at a residence in the 500 block of 14th street in Aurora.
Sheriff Jeromy McCoy says numerous drug-related items were seized including: 16.6 grams of methamphetamine, 1.9 grams of fentanyl and 5 firearms. Deputies arrested Gordon Spencer, 54 of Aurora, NE for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, possession of methamphetamine, possession of exceptionally hazardous drug, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and no drug tax stamp.
