REPUBLICAN CITY – The Nebraska Walleye Association is hosting a tournament at Harlan County Reservoir on Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25 at the Harlan County Reservoir. In conjunction with the Walleye Tournament, a free Kids Fishing Day will also be available.
The Nebraska Walleye Association will have launch and weigh-in at the North Shore Marina at 3 PM on April 24. The event is part of the Nebraska Walleye Association’s Tournament Circuit. For more information on the event, visit nebraskawalleye.com
The free Kids Fishing Clinic will only be held on Saturday, April 25 from 4 PM to 5:30 PM at Waconda Boats in Republican City.
Registering early is recommended as participation is limited. To register, call Trisha Scott at Waconda Boats at 308-799-5000. Certified instructors will teach kids everything: from casting to fish identification. Parents are also encouraged to attend. Attendees of the event also receive a free fishing rod and reel.
