The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a disturbance in Wallace, Nebraska. It was reported a male subject was stabbed by another male Sunday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the scene and arrested 34-year-old Daniel Swanson at his home in Wallace. The victim was a 36-year-old Wallace man and fled to a neighbor’s house to call for help. The victim reported Swanson was the aggressor and stabbed him during the altercation.
Deputies located the victim and rendered first aid for multiple stab wounds and later flown to Lincoln for serious and potentially life threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office news release.
Swanson was arrested for First Degree Assault and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony. A search warrant was issued for further investigation of the resident. The investigation is ongoing.
