Here’s your chance to help celebrate Phelps County’s 150th anniversary, and win $150 too! The Phelps County Historical Society (PCHS) is sponsoring a contest to select the logo we’ll use to represent Phelps County’s 150th Anniversary. All past and current Phelps County residents are welcome to compete!
Logo submissions are due December 16, 2022 and can be submitted by US Mail, e-mailed or hand delivered to the Nebraska Prairie Museum. The winning logo will be chosen by Phelps County Historical Society’s Event Committee, and the winner will be announced the first week of January 2023. Along with being recognized as the designer of the 150th logo, the winner will also receive $150 and a membership to the Nebraska Prairie Museum courtesy of the Phelps County Historical Society.
The logo design is important, as it will be used in a variety of ways to promote Phelps County’s 150th Anniversary. In 1973, Phelps County’s 100th Anniversary logo was designed by Clarence S. (C.S.) Nelson and featured on the cover of the 1980 Phelps County History Book. Please don’t miss your chance to win $150 for the Phelps 150 Logo!
