Overton-The 7th ranked Overton Eagle girls continued their winning ways last night with a 72-17 win over Elm Creek. Overton jumped out to a 17-2 lead and were never threatned. Jolee Ryan led the way with 21, while Ashlyn Florell scored 13 points and Adysen McCarter scored 10. Elm Creek was paced by Ashley Bauer had 13. Overton is now 15-3 on the while Elm Creek dropped to 8-9.
In the boys game, 3rd ranked Elm Creek scored 41 points in the first half and cruised in for a 68-29 victory. The Buffaloes hit a season high eight three pointers as they improved to 16-1. Kade Sidnt led the way with 10 points, While Trent Watkins and Isiah Quintana had nine. Will Kulhanek scored 11 for the Eagles who are now 6-11 this season.
