October 17th, 2022 | Jayson Jorgensen

Loomis native and longtime teacher and coach Drew Billeter has accepted the superintendent position at Southwest Public schools in Bartley for next year. After starring as an athlete for the Wolves, Billeter eventually returned as a teacher, administrator and a coach for the Wolves since 2015. He spoke this week with the Rural Radio Network’s Jayson Jorgensen about the move.

Billeter adds he is very proud of the accomplishments the school made in creating its wall of fame, renovating the gym and the completion of the press box at the football field during his time as activities director. As boys basketball coach, the Wolves have made the state tournament the last four years and finished as the Class D1 state runner up this past spring. Drew is married to Whitney Billeter, who is the K-12 Guidance Counselor at Loomis. They have four kids, Houston, Aspen, Baylor, and Bruin. Billeter graduated from Loomis high school in 2005.
