HOLDREGE – Holdrege hosted area teams on Friday, April 30 for their track and field invitational. Area teams in action were Northwest, North Platte, Lexington, Holdrege, York, Hastings, and Kearney.

Notable Holdrege standouts include:

GIRLS:
Alexis Bliven was runner-up in the 100 meter dash with a 12.66. Bliven would be second in the 200 meter dash.
Megan Belgum was second in the 400 meter dash.
Avery Hurlbert was third in the 800 meter run.
Makenna Fulmer was third in the 300 meter hurdles.
The 4×100 meter relay was 5th, while the 4×400 meter relay team won. The 4×800 meter relay was third.
Hanna Swearingen was third in the high jump.
Bradie Medina and Kaitlyn Jewett were second and third in the pole vault.
Bliven would finish second in the long jump.
Overall, Holdrege would finish 4th behind Northwest, North Platte, and Lexington.

BOYS:
Jacob Drain was 6th in the 100 meter dash.
Drain would also be 5th in the 200 meter dash.
Bryant Fulmer was second in the 800 meter run.
Nikolas Clement was fourth in the 1600 meter run.
The 4×100 meter relay was fourth, while the 4×400 meter relay finished fourth as well.
Max Hunter was third in the discus.
Zac Sundquist and Jaren Moore finished fourth and fifth in the pole vault.
Dylan Haag was fifth in the long jump.
Overall Holdrege finished tied for fifth with York.
