OGALLALA – The Holdrege First State Bank Seniors traveled to Ogallala on Saturday, falling 10-1.
Holdrege got off to a fast early start, earning a run at the top of the first. Ogallala had their bats going early as well, getting four runs in at the bottom of the opening inning.
First State Bank was unable to continue their rhythm, being held scoreless the rest of the contest. Ogallala would add four more runs in the third, and two in the fourth. After Holdrege was shut-out in the fifth, the mercy rule took place giving the win to Ogalalla.
