First State Bank Shuts Down Lexington
Holdrege downed Lexington on Tuesday night

Lexington-Holdrege’s Kaden Broker was the star of the night helping First State Bank to a 6-0 win over Pinnacle Bank of Lexington on Tuesday night. Broeker threw a complete game shutout leading the Holdrege seniors to their third victory of the season. He allowed just four hits while striking out four as he picked up the win. Broeker also helped himself out at the plate by driving in Dashton Edgren to give First State Bank a 1-0 lead in the third. Holdrege was helped out by six errors committed by Lexington. Clay Bohr was two for four at the plate and also drove in a run for Holdrege. Grayson Strauss had his longest outing of the season on the mound for Pinnacle Bank as he went six innings allowing just four hits while striking out seven. Pinnacle Bank was led at the plate by Landon Johnson who was 2-3 and Jase Carpenter also had a triple. Lexington will host Cozad tonight at 8pm, that game can be heard on KAMI Country.
