Nance County, Neb. — One person died following a one-vehicle crash Saturday night in Nance County. The Nance County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on N. 270th Avenue shortly after 10 p.m.
The reporting party said there was an SUV with severe damage in the ditch and there was one occupant inside the vehicle who was not responsive.
The Fullerton Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad were able to remove the driver who was still unresponsive. The driver was transported to the Boone County Hospital in Albion where he was later pronounced dead. Sheriff’s Deputies are assisting the Nebraska State Patrol in an investigation of the crash.
