The Holdrege Dusters enjoyed a lot of success at the B-5 District Track Meet on Tuesday. Holdrege traveled to Broken Bow for the competition and came back with eight state qualifiers in ten events. The Duster Girls had an all-around outstanding finish as a team finishing as the B-5 Runner-up behind Grand Island Northwest.
The Dusters qualifiers are:
Max Hunter – Discus
Nikolas Schrock – 1600M
Avery Hurlbert – 800M and 1600M
Ella Jacobsen – Discus and Shot Put
Bradie Medina – Pole Vault
Erin Michalski – Pole Vault
Kaitlyn Jewett – Pole Vault
Hannah Swearingen – High Jump
The 2022 State Track & Field Championship is set to begin Wednesday, May 18 at Omaha Burke Stadium. Competition will open with field events at 9 am.
