An Arapahoe woman is charged in a drug investigation. On December 27, 2021 a Furnas County Sheriff’s deputy received information about drug activity involving an Arapahoe resident. It led to a search warrant of an Arapahoe residence with assistance from Nebraska State Patrol. Baggies of suspected methamphetamine were seized along with numerous items of drug paraphernalia. It resulted in the arrest of 52-year-old Kimberly Hupka.
Hupka has been arraigned in Furnas County Court on charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person. Her bond was set at 10% of $150,000. Her next hearing is set for January 24, 2022 at 8:30am in Phelps County Court.
