A Memorial Graveside Service and Inurnment for Gary W. Talbert will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. at the Industry Cemetery at Atlanta, Nebraska with Pastor Daren Popple officiating.
Gary Wayne Talbert, 64 years of age, of Holdrege, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022, at his home in Holdrege. Gary was born on May 24, 1958, in Kearney, Nebraska, the eldest of three children born to Wayne and Dixie (Corder) Talbert. He attended Loomis Public Schools.
Gary was a self-employed carpenter and also delivered for the Holdrege Daily Citizen. He enjoyed making others laugh and will be remembered for his sense of humor.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Wayne.
Gary is survived by his mother, Dixie Nonamaker and her husband, Dale of Osborne, Kansas; daughter, Samantha Salinetro of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters: Pam Dozbaba and her husband, David of Evergreen, Colorado; and Karen Fox and her husband, Keith of Holdrege; his significant other, Karen Brooks of Holdrege; and extended family members.
The family has chosen cremation. There will be no viewing or visitation.
A memorial has been established in Gary’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
