The north is seeing tighter supplies of cattle, that has put a disparity with cattle to the south. With tighter numbers & higher quality cattle in the north the demand continues at a high pace. Brad Kooima said that with numerous USDA reports out this week the focus might step away from cattle for a short time, but the results of those reports will have a marketing effect on the cattle. Don’t forget markets are closed on Monday for the July 4th holiday.
