Wayne, Neb. — Due to snow and cold weather, this weekend’s Wayne State College NSIC opening baseball series vs. Minnesota Crookston is being moved from Wayne to Elkhorn and will be moved back one day.
This weekend’s three-game series will now be played at Frerichs Legion Park in Elkhorn with a doubleheader Sunday starting at 1 p.m. and a nine-inning game Monday at 12 p.m.
Wayne State enters the series at 6-8 overall while Minnesota Crookston sports a 10-8 record. Both teams played games last week on their annual spring break trips to Florida.
