West Point City Council holds public hearing for Street Improvement Program, discusses allowing fireworks for New Years

A public hearing for the 1 & 6 Year Street Improvement Program was held at Tuesday night’s West Point City Council meeting. City Administrator Tom Goulette comments on what was discussed during that public hearing.

The next regularly scheduled council meeting is November 1st at 5:30 p.m.

Also at Tuesday night’s meeting, the council discussed amending the code book to allow for the sale and discharge of fireworks celebrating the New Year.

The absent member was Ryan Penrose. The dates being looked at for the fireworks are December 28th-January 1st.
