    a. SPED
    i. Title 1 self-reviews were submitted to NDE and approved for the Elementary,
    Middle and High Schools.
    ii. Special education Extended School Year services (ESY) are planned and in
    place to be delivered during the summer months.
    iii. Thirty-seven District employees are paid in part or full by Federal funds (SPED,

Title 1, Poverty, LEP). A Time & Effort Log or a Semi-Annual Certification
form is required for each employee paid by Federal funds. These logs have been
completed and are on file in the Special Education Director’s office.

i. Multicultural Education—experiences given at checkouts. Multiculturalism is
reflected in lesson plans throughout the year. Cinco de Mayo celebration was
celebrated as shared in the May meeting.
