The West Point-Beemer School Board approved Hooper Heating and Air’s bid of $352,400 to install air conditioning in the High School Gym at Monday night’s Special Meeting. Superintendent DJ Weddle talks about what factored into the decision to go with that particular bid.
Weddle says there were two other bids, one from Siemens for roughly $674,000, and Grunwald’s for $472,000.
Weddle says the project is expected to start once the school year is completed.
