Wakefield Eagle Scout Installs POW/MIA Seat of Honor at Eaton Field

WAKEFIELD – Jack Schlickbernd, a member of the Eagle Scout Troop 174 in Wakefield has installed a POW/MIA Seat of Honor at Eaton Field as his Eagle Scout project.

Schlickbernd explains the the process of bringing the project together.

Schlickbernd talks about why he chose this specific project.

This Wednesday night, Sept. 21 at 6:30, a dedication ceremony will be held for the Seat of Honor at Eaton Field in Wakefield.

Schlickbernd breaks down the event.

Schlickbernd added that the empty chair will serve as an instant reminder of the sacrifices made for our country by these still-missing US Service personnel, over 81,000, who have, for too long, been forgotten by all but their families and close friends. The community of Wakefield has three POW/MIAs.
